A new concept in legal publishing, this first year of the FT Innovative Lawyers Report was a 16 page fold-in with the Financial Times. It analysed innovation amongst UK lawyers only.

For the first time, there was an examination of law firms and individual lawyers innovations in: Legal Expertise, Public Sector Lawyers , Client Service, Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Billing and Fees, Corporate Social Responsibility, and the use of Technology.
